Tattie Scones (Potato Scones)

Tattie sconeThis is a super way to use up leftover mashed potato! I don’t add any butter in this recipe as we always use milk and butter to make our mashed potato, so I don’t feel it’s necessary.

  • 250g mashed potato
  • 50g plain flour
  • pinch of salt

1. Take out the already mashed and seasoned potato and mix in the plain flour to create a ball.

Rolled out dough3. Place the tattle scones on a griddle or frying pan over a medium heat until they are golden brown, around a few minutes. Then, flip the scones over and repeat for the other side.
